Nicollet Mall in Downtown Minneapolis

Nicollet Mall is a major shopping, entertainment and arts district in downtown Minneapolis. This outdoor street mall is most famous for its skyways connecting a twelve block area with restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, bars, office and residential buildings and notable stores, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Barnes & Noble and a three story super Target. Check out the bronze statue of Mary Tyler Moore tossing her cap on 7th avenue in front of Macy's.

Nicollet Mall is serviced by Metro Transit buses and the Blue Line light rail. The buses include several high volume routes and a free bus from the Convention Center to the Nicollet Mall Blue Line station. The rail line connects downtown to the Mall of America and the airport.
